About Me

Karli Fisher is a 22-year old playwright, theatre artist, and musician from Houston, TX. She is currently based in Brooklyn, where she enjoys much cooler weather but misses things like Kaboom Books, Montrose, and southern charm from back home.

As a young playwright and creative, she is finding her voice in exploring stories of women, unconventional families, and queer relationships in thought-provoking, boundary-pushing theatrical forms which reflect the chaos and heart of everyday life. 

She recently graduated from Emerson College in the Spring of 2025 as a member of the Honors Program with a BFA in Theatre and Performance and a minor in Dramatic Writing. She has worked with the literary department at the Alley Theatre in Houston, where her passion for new play development began, as well as with Boston’s SpeakEasy Stage Company.
